Ingredients per serving
- 3.2 oz elbow pasta
- 3.2 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1.6 oz Cheese Guy cheddar
- 1.6 cup milk
- 0.8 oz butter
- 0.8 oz Breadcrumbs
- 0.4 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.4 oz Parmesan Cheese
- 0.2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 0.1 oz Black Pepper
- 0.05 oz paprika
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Cook the elbow pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the all-purpose flour and whisk continuously for 2 minutes to create a roux.
4. Gradually add the heavy cream and milk, whisking constantly until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Stir in the shredded Cheese Guy cheddar, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Continue to cook and stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and mix well to coat all the pasta evenly.
7. Transfer the mac & cheese mixture to a large baking dish. Sprinkle the bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese over the top.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
