Ingredients per serving
- 0.6 each Eggs
- 0.5 lbs Chicken Breast (Boneless)
- 0.4 oz Vegetable Oil
- 0.2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 0.2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 0.1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.1 oz Black Pepper
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cut chicken breasts into thin cutlets, about 1/4 inch thick.
3. Place flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and black pepper. Beat eggs in another shallow dish. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
4. Dredge each chicken cutlet in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Dip into beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
5. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
7. Transfer fried schnitzel to a baking sheet and keep warm in the preheated oven while frying remaining batches.
8. Serve hot with ketchup or honey-mustard sauce.
