Ingredients per serving

  • 4.0 oz flour
  • 3.2 cup milk
  • 0.8 oz sugar
  • 0.8 oz butter
  • 0.2 each egg
  • 0.1 tsp yeast
  • 0.05 tsp Kosher Salt

Method

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk (110°F) with yeast and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. 2. Add the flour and salt to the bowl and mix until a rough dough forms. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. 4. Incorporate the softened butter and eggs into the dough, kneading until fully absorbed. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size. 6. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into small portions to shape into individual breads. 7. Arrange the shaped breads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise again for 20 minutes. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the bottoms sound hollow when tapped. 9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
